candle guy started with a simple idea: everyday products are a lot more fun when they actually have something to say.

It began with scented candles and funny sayings. From there, the idea quickly grew into notebooks, mugs, tote bags, teddy bears and more — all designed to make ordinary products feel a little more personal, unexpected and fun.

Some designs are funny, some are inappropriate, some are personal, and many can be customized with your own text. The goal is always the same: create products people actually want to use, keep, or give to someone else.

Our candles are made with 100% soy wax — not a soy wax blend.

Soy wax provides a clean, even burn and is a great choice for a long-lasting scented candle.

Our 9 oz candles have a burn time of up to 70 hours when cared for properly.

For the longest and most even burn, trim the wick before each use and allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface.

Yes. Our candles are made with vegan soy wax.

We do not use animal-based waxes such as beeswax.

Our candles are hand-poured in the USA.

Each candle is made with care and combined with one of our candle guy designs and carefully selected fragrances.

Each candle contains 9 oz of wax and measures approximately 3.3 inches tall and 3 inches wide.

The size is compact enough for desks, shelves and nightstands while still offering up to 70 hours of burn time.

For the best results, trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch before each burn.

On the first burn, allow the melted wax to reach the edges of the container. This helps prevent tunneling and gives you a more even burn.

We recommend burning your candle for around 1–4 hours at a time.

Always place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface and never leave a burning candle unattended.
